As I posted before, I was very impressed with the city of Nantes.\u00a0 Of all the cool things in the city, my favorite was Les Machines de l’\u00eele.\u00a0 The biggest attraction is The Grand \u00c9l\u00e9phant<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It is a free attraction to look at, and wanders around the industrial park.\u00a0 It costs to ride the elephant, and for the carousels, and the indoor park with many other mechanical animals.<\/p>\n

The conference I was attending hosted their Gala dinner here and it was very nice.\u00a0 First, they opened up the inside part up for us to explore, then The Grand \u00c9l\u00e9phant<\/a> made a dramatic entrance.\u00a0 Then we were seated, where a 20 piece jazz band played for us while we ate with the elephant in the background.\u00a0 Luckily, I was able to get a ticket for Emily to join us for the dinner.\u00a0 Over the top nice…<\/p>\n
